Co-founder
With over 30 years of rich experience across India and the ASEAN region, Sumit Kanungo brings deep expertise in marketing, media, and the CPG space. He has held senior leadership roles in renowned global networks such as IPG, WPP, Publicis, Havas, and Madison, where he consistently delivered impactful, data-driven brand strategies and led MarTech innovation. Sumit is known for his ability to translate deep consumer insights into practical, result-oriented marketing solutions. His work has played a pivotal role in accelerating growth for many of the region’s most admired and trusted brands. Sumit’s strategic thinking and forward-looking approach make him a respected leader in the industry.
Debarghya Mitra
Co-founder
Deb is a client-centric, solution-oriented media professional with close to 25 years of rich cross functional experience in leading agencies. He has held exco level leadeship roles in networks like GroupM and Madison and has a proven track record in new business development, integrated media strategy & procurement. Ignitus is his first foray into the world of entrepreneurship. Combining his understanding of client needs, with technology, Deb’s vision is to build Ignitus into a result driven and trusted partner for brands. Outside of work, Deb has keen interest in capital markets, he is an avid football follower and prefers the wilderness of forests and mountains to rewind and rejuvenate.
Suvajit Sengupta
CTO and Tech-entrepreneur
Suvajit is a seasoned Software Architect and Agile Practitioner with over 18 years in the IT industry. He has helped 100+ clients streamline operations and grow through technology and agile methods. He has worked with global giants like Texas Instruments, Siemens, Philips, and Applied Materials. Suvajit consults startups and MSEs on simplifying digital transformation and IT adoption. His expertise spans Web, Mobile, IoT, Embedded Systems, Cloud, GIS, DevOps, and Automation. He holds a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Calcutta and is a Certified Scrum Master. A passionate photographer and design enthusiast, Suvajit lives in Bangalore with his wife and daughter.
